DESIGNATION : A.O.C. Beaujolais Villages WINE NAME : Beaujolais Villages EXPOSURE : South near the villages of Emeringes and Vauxrenard VINES : Fairly old vines, 50 to 80-years-old. Cultivated entirely by hand due to the steep slopes. The vines are bush-trained in goblet form on excellent terrain, which produces wine of very good quality. In order to best respect the environment, treatment is minimal depending on the yearly conditions. WINEMAKING PROCESS : Manually harvested, the bunches of grapes are put whole into the vat for 10 days for a 100% carbonic maceration. The wine is aged in the vats for four months. Depending on the year, the winemaking process is accomplished no added sulfites or other products such as yeast or sugar. BOTTLING : The wine is filtered and bottled and labeled by our enterprise. TASTING AND CONSUMPTION : To be served at 14°-16°C (57°-61°F) with cold cuts, cheese or simply by itself ! WINE-MAKER ADVICE : This is the fruitiest wine of our production. It is a pleasure to drink this aromatic wine with friends, and young people enjoy its purple color and light tannins. AGEING POTENTIAL : 4 years ALCOHOL CONTENT : 12 % by volume |
